Apex Volleyball Club – Terms & Conditions
1. Club Fees
1.1 Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable
All club fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid. Fees are charged to the registered individual only and cannot be transferred, credited, or reassigned to another person, team, division, season, or future program.
1.2 Purpose of Club Fees
Club fees cover training, coaching, court hire, and general club operations. These costs are incurred regardless of individual participation, and as such, fees will not be refunded for change of mind, withdrawal, injury, illness, personal circumstances, or non-attendance.
1.3 Match Fees
Match fees are separate from club fees and are paid directly toward competition costs with Volleyball WA (VWA), including league entry, administration, and officiating. Once your position in a division is confirmed (typically during preseason), match fees will become payable. Match fees vary by division, typically ranging from $500–$650.
2. Merchandise & Uniforms
2.1 Non-Refundable Merchandise
Merchandise and uniforms that have been opened, worn, or altered are non-refundable.
2.2 Care of Uniforms
Members are responsible for the care and maintenance of club uniforms. Any loss or damage resulting from negligence may require replacement at the member’s expense.
2.3 Uniform & Merch Usage
Club uniforms and merchandise must be worn appropriately and respectfully. Members are expected to maintain the club’s image when wearing Apex gear in public or at events.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1 General Conduct
All members, players, and supporters must behave respectfully, responsibly, and in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. This includes interactions with teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, and spectators.
3.2 Use of Club Uniform & Merchandise
When wearing Apex uniforms or merchandise, members represent the club. Members must not engage in any behaviour that may bring the club into disrepute, including, but not limited to, unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, or illegal activity.
3.3 Disciplinary Actions
Failure to comply with the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension from training or competition, or removal from the club at the committee’s discretion.
4. Registration & Participation
4.1 Acceptance of Terms
By registering with Apex Volleyball Club, members acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
4.2 Preseason and Team Placement
Team placements are provisional until final confirmation after preseason. Factors considered include team structure, positional requirements, and individual performance.
4.3 Offers with “+” Designation
A “+” next to an offer indicates a higher chance of being placed in a higher division within Apex. This is due to potential openings created by the club’s State League spot. Final division placements will be confirmed after preseason.
5. Liability
5.1 Assumption of Risk
Participation in volleyball carries inherent risks. Members and guardians acknowledge these risks and agree that Apex Volleyball Club is not liable for injuries sustained during training, competition, or events, except where required by law.
5.2 Personal Property
The club is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought to training, matches, or events.
6. Privacy & Communication
6.1 Member Information
Personal information collected during registration will be used for club administration, communication, and Volleyball WA requirements.
6.2 Communications
Members consent to receiving emails, SMS, or other communications regarding club updates, events, and administrative matters.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1 Changes to Terms
The club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
7.2 Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
